This is what "elite" looks like

That famously edgy publication Crains Chicago Business this week offers a scouting report on the movers and shakers in local media, profiling 27 individuals who comprise what they call "Chicago's Media Elite."

Alongside the likes of megamillionaire media boss Fred Eychaner and ubiquitous bubblehead Tom Skilling, the list includes Stop Smiling founder JC Gabel, Metromix editor Leigh Behrens, and the guy pictured above - who Crains calls "the most influential rock critic in Chicago".
